Do you have a minimum order for wholesale?

We do! Our minimum orders depend on the type of product you are ordering:

• Fowler’s Mill brand kraft paper bags are sold in cases of 12 or 24, with no split cases.  Initial orders and reorders have a four case minimum. Thus, the smallest order is four cases of 12 bags each. Each case may be for a different product.
• Private label kraft paper bag mixes are packed in cases of 24 only, with no split cases. Initial orders and reorders have a 6 case minimum (144 bags packed 24 per case). Each case may be for a different product.

Can I get around the minimum order?

We are so sorry but we do stick to our minimum order quantities. If you need a smaller amount then we might not be the best supplier for you!

Do you offer private label mixes?

Yes! We offer a private label program. We put your logo and information at the top of our specially designed, full-color, glossy labels.  This process makes it easy for you to have a beautiful private label design with your logo, without your having to hire a graphic designer.

If you opt for a private label, the program follows a simple 3-step process. 

1. Send us your logo file with your first order.
2. We send you a proof of your label for approval. You will receive your design proofs between 2 - 7 days after we get your logo.
3. Once approved, we'll get going on your order! A one-time $50 set-up fee is applied to your first order for the label design and creation 

What are the label requirements for private label mixes?

• Per FDA rules, labels must include your company name and address 
• You also have the option to include your phone number and website
• Typically folks send us their logo file and we add in the address and other information.
• For the logo file, high-resolution artwork of 300dpi is best. We prefer a PNG file with a transparent background but will do our best to work with what you have (JPEG, TIF, PDG, EP5, Ai, Vector Art).

How fast do you ship wholesale orders?

Our order processing time depends on the type of product you are ordering:

• Fowler’s Mill brand orders typically ship within a few days.
• Private label orders have a lead time for shipment of up to two weeks. From August through October, your order will likely take 2 weeks. During the rest of the year, we usually get orders shipped out within a week.

How does shipping work?

Your shipping cost will be passed through to you. Shipping costs depend on the quantity of product ordered as well as your distance from Chardon, Ohio.  

• Ground Shipping. Orders under 12 cases typically ship UPS Ground and the cost usually ranges from $15 to $25 per case.  
• Freight Shipping. For larger orders, packaging the product on a pallet and shipping via freight can be more cost-effective, as long as your facility can accommodate trucks.  The cost can be as low as $5-10 per case for full pallets.  If the customer’s facility is classified as “limited-access” or lacking a standard dock entrance, then the cost will be higher.

We find that both ground shipping and freight shipping take from 1 day (for our mid-western neighbors) to 6 days (for west coast deliveries).  The Northeast and Mid-Atlantic is typically 2-3 days of shipping time. 

What kind of packaging do the baking mixes come in?

Shelf-ready, giftable, and cute as can be (at least we think so!) Each bag has full prep instructions and ingredients—ready to put on the shelf or wrap up in a gift basket.

How long do your mixes last on the shelf?

Your wholesale order products will have a minimum of 18 months prior to their “best by” date, just store in a cool, dry place.

Can these mixes be turned into non-traditional baked goods like cake pops?

You bet they can! Our baking mixes are super versatile and can be the base for all kinds of creative treats—think cake pops, mini muffins, pancake tacos, and more. Whether your customers want to follow the classic recipe or get a little crafty in the kitchen, these mixes are up for the challenge.
