DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 350°F
- In a large bowl, combine this baking mix with 12 oz. of beer (typically this is one can of beer). Stir until combined, but do not overmix (there should still be some lumps!)
- Pour batter into a greased loaf pan (approx. 9” by 5”)
- Melt 4 tbsp of butter and pour on top of batter
- Bake 45-50 minutes until golden brown. When done, a toothpick will come out clean from the center
Note: You may substitute any carbonated beverage for the beer. The resulting loaf will likely be denser, and it will take on some of the flavor of your beverage.
