Cherry Crisp Mix


Tantalize your taste buds with our classic Cherry Crisp Mix! Just add butter to the mix and sprinkle over cherries (or any fruit of your choosing), bake, and enjoy a little slice of heaven. Cinnamon-y crumbles and sweet cherries, yum! Making a delectable treat has never been so easy (or so fun)!


Makes two 9" crisps.

DIRECTIONS: Preheat oven to 375ºF.

TO PREPARE FRUIT: Using Fresh or Frozen Fruits: Thaw, wash and remove pits from 4 cups of cherries (or your favorite fruit). Sweeten to taste with up to 3/4 cup sugar (depending on the tartness of your fruit) and mix in 2 tablespoons of flour. Using Canned Fruit in Water: Strain off water from 4 cups fruit and sweeten with up to 3/4 cup sugar and mix in 2 tablespoons of flour. Using Canned Pie Filling: Use 4 cups of filling directly from the can or jar.

TO PREPARE TOPPING: Mix 1/2 stick (4 tablespoons) melted butter or margarine with 1-1/4 cup Cherry Crisp Mix.

TO ASSEMBLE CRISP: Butter 9” pie dish and spread fruit mixture in the bottom. Sprinkle topping over fruit. Bake for 30 minutes.

INGREDIENTS: Brown Sugar, Rolled Oats, Enriched Wheat Flour (Wheat Flour, Niacin, Reduced Iron, Thiamine Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid), Stoneground Whole Wheat Flour, Cinnamon and Sea Salt.
